Customers of FirstEnergy’s Pennsylvania utility companies — Met-Ed, Penelec and Penn Power — can now take advantage of rebates on the purchase of energy-efficient ENERGY STAR^® qualified appliances.

ENERGY STAR qualified appliances use 10-15 percent less energy and water than standard models – in turn, contributing to your overall savings in energy costs. And, the savings start with FirstEnergy rebates of $10-$75 on ENERGY STAR products* including:

• $75 for Clothes Washers (home must have electric water heater)
• $50 for Refrigerator-Freezers
• $25 for Freezers
• $25 for Room Air Conditioners
• $10 for Dehumidifiers

Rebates are available to customers of FirstEnergy Pennsylvania electric utilities — Met-Ed, Penelec and Penn Power — on qualified products purchased between October 28, 2009 to May 31, 2013.

Simply provide proof of purchase along with a completed mail-in rebate application after purchasing select ENERGY STAR qualified appliances.
